From watching his daughters grow through the league years ago to now coaching his own granddaughter, Coach Matt has spent more than a decade helping young players discover their love for softball at NCLL.

Coach Matt leads the Bolts in the Minor B division, though anyone who watches his team play knows they bring the intensity and effort of a Majors team.

With 10 to 12 years involved in the league, Coach Matt has become a familiar and respected presence on the fields at New Castle Little League.

What Inspired Him to Coach

Like many great coaches, it all started with his own kids.

But over time, coaching became about something bigger. It became about being present and making a positive impact on as many young athletes as possible.
