Now entering year four going on five with NCLL, Coach Madisin leads the Minor A Marlins, and she is ready for another exciting season.

And as she would say, it is almost GAME TIME BAAAABYYYYYY.

What Inspired Her to Coach

The inspiration for Coach Madisin’s coaching journey is simple.

Coach Dan.

His leadership and example sparked the fire that led her to step into coaching. His approach to the game showed her how much impact a great coach can have on young athletes.

Coach Madisin grew up playing Little League softball as a catcher, a position that demands toughness, leadership, and awareness of everything happening on the field.

Those same qualities continue to show up in the way she coaches and connects with her players today.

What Excites Her Most This Season

One of the most exciting parts of this season for Coach Madisin is seeing familiar faces.

Several of the players on this year’s Marlins team are athletes she has coached since the very beginning of her coaching journey. Watching them grow year after year, both as players and as people, is what makes coaching so rewarding.

For Coach Madisin, developing strong athletes is only part of the job.

Respect and good sportsmanship are non negotiable.

She believes baseball is an opportunity to help shape good people, not just better players. By emphasizing teamwork, respect, and accountability, she helps her athletes build character that will serve them far beyond the field.
