Coach Spotlight: Dan Lewis

You may remember Coach Dan Lewis from Coach Madisin’s spotlight. He is the one who inspired her to step into coaching. Now, Dan continues to lead our youngest players while helping wherever the league needs him most.

Entering his fifth season with NCLL, Dan heads the Blue Rocks T-Ball team, bringing energy, patience, and a passion for baseball to every practice and game.

Who Inspired Him to Coach

For Dan, coaching is a way to pass forward the lessons he learned from his own father.

Growing up, his dad taught him not only a love for the game but also the importance of giving back to the next generation. Those lessons continue to shape his approach to coaching today.

Playing Background

Coach Dan played baseball primarily in the outfield, covering right, left, and center field. His playing experience helps him teach fundamentals, field awareness, and a love for the game to his players.

What Excites Him Most This Season

Dan is excited to watch players grow and develop throughout the season.

From the very first practice to the final game, he enjoys seeing each athlete improve their skills, gain confidence, and grow in their love for the game.
