Frequently Asked Questions

Registration is completed online. Visit our Registration page to get started.

Registration typically opens in the winter. Early Bird discounts may apply. Final registration deadlines will be posted on the website and social media.

Registration fees vary by division and may change each season. Visit the Registration page for current pricing.

Eligibility is based on age and residency. Please refer to the Divisions page for age charts.

You will need proof of age (birth certificate) and proof of residency.

Late registrations may be accepted based on roster availability, but late fees could apply.

Fees help cover field maintenance, equipment, uniforms, and league operations.

Divisions are determined by league age using official Little League age charts.

Playing up or down may be considered based on age, experience, and evaluations, but final placement is determined by the league.

Requests are considered, but cannot be guaranteed. Final decisions are made by league officials.

All-Star teams are selected based on evaluations and performance during the regular season. More details are provided by the league at the end of the season.

Yes. For this season, tryouts/evaluations will be required for all baseball and softball divisions, Minor B and up.

Schedules vary by division, but most teams practice 1–2 times per week with 1–2 games weekly.

Players typically need a glove, bat, cleats, and water bottle. Jerseys and hats are provided by the league.

All softball players are required to wear a fielding mask.

Only bats approved by Little League regulations are allowed. Check the official Little League rules for approved bat lists.

Weather-related decisions are communicated via email and social media.

NCLL is 100% volunteer-run. Parent involvement is encouraged and appreciated.

Opportunities include: Managing/Coaching, Team Parent, Concessions, Field Prep, Event Support.

Each family submits a $150 Volunteer Bond at the start of the season.

Families must complete 6 volunteer hours per season in concessions, field prep, events, or other approved roles.

Cash bonds are returned once hours are completed. Checks are only cashed if volunteer hours are not fulfilled. Partial hours do not result in partial bond returns.
